New clarifying PROPILVEN J-858 grade

New Propilven J-858 grade, high fluidity clarified random copolymer.

The clarified polypropylene market has shown a fast growth in recent years, especially in applications related to house wares and the pharma-cosmetics industry. The main requirements are directed to the use of resins with excellent injecting capacity as well as a good balance of optical and mechanical properties. This has motivated the development of a new grade: Propilven J-858 to satisfy the requirements of an important sector of our customers.

J858 is a random copolymer of 25,0 dg/min melt flow rate, with clarifying and anti-static agents. It is characterized by its excellent transparency and brightness, short cycles and easy de-molding capability. It has an improved shock resistance compared to a homopolymer of similar features.

Ideal for large size thin wall parts which require excellent transparency and brightness, such as food containers, buckets, syringes, among others.
